A volleyball court is a rectangular playing area with a length of 18 meters and a width of 9 meters. The court is divided into two equal halves by a net that runs through the center. The height of the net is 2.43 meters for men and 2.24 meters for women. On each side of the net, there is a 3-meter-wide attack line that marks the front row players’ limit during service. The court also has sidelines and end lines that mark the boundaries of the playing area. The back row attack line, which is 3 meters from the net, marks the limit for back-row players to attack the ball. In addition, there are two antennae on either side of the net that extend 80 cm above the net to indicate the boundary for the ball crossing the net.
